Swim lanes

In 「Swim Lanes」, the audience is guided to participate in a performance based on perceptions of human alienation. Using a shared and familiar material (fallen leaves), the seemingly isolated field in the World Expo Convention Center became a field where we could connect to one another. On one side of the table were performances of everyday behavior—men in English gentlemen’s clothes, girls playing silent violins, and students throwing the fallen leaves. The other side was full of ritual—a pile of expressionless masks and a lonely man wearing a sheep's head mask.
It was very interesting to witness outside performance artists gradually join the performance, as well as the staff. Subtle and repressed emotions poured out like a flood at this fair, squeezing everyone. Perhaps the viewers wanted more to happen, to witness more, but the performance stopped at the right time, and then immediately returned to the occasion of the art fair, hoping to leave more thoughts nestled in the wet leaves on the ground.
